Chelsea Football Club was founded on 14 March 1905 at The Rising Sun pub (now The Butcher's Hook), opposite the present-day main entrance to the ground on Fulham Road, and were elected to the Football League shortly afterwards. Chelsea FC is a Premier League football team that plays at Stamford Bridge, the football ground in the South of West London. Notwithstanding the club's name, it is not actually based in the borough of Chelsea, but just outside its boundaries, in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Chelsea won its first League Championship in 1955 in front of 75,000 fans. The Championship was won in the penultimate game, at home to Sheffield Wednesday on St. George's Day in 1955.

The 21st Century has been labeled as the "Golden Era" for the Blues. In addition to winning mutliple FA Cup titles, League Cups and strong performances in the EUFA Champions League, Chelsea became the first London club to win back-to-back Premiership championships since the 1930s. Frank Lampard, voted second best player in the world during the season, netted a remarkable 20 goals from midfield and broke the Premier League record for consecutive appearances. John Terry was named EUFA Defensive Player of the Year for 2009. Most recently, the Blues went on an undefeated run through the World Football Challenge held in the US to win the first-ever trophy in that competition.

Chelsea FC is currently ranked in the Top 5 of the EUFA Champions League Power Rankings.

We are the Chelsea Supporters' Union, and our mission is to provide a fun, vigorous atmosphere for Chelsea Supporters throughout Ohio and beyond. Our members are mostly American although some are British expats. Founded in 2008, this US-based CFC overseas supporters group has put together trips to the local Football (Soccer) matches, matchday pub get-togethers at various local pubs and football (soccer) venues.

Basic Union Membership with our supporters' club has always been Free. Some members (Voting Members) donate time and money to help the club operate and grow.
